मेरा पगला है वो

दिल की बातो का मतलब जानता नही है वो ,

या यू कहू की इन अहसासों से अनजान है वो

मेरे ख्यालो में तो हर वक्त रहता है वो ,

पर मुझे अपने ख्यालो से दूर रखता है वो ..........................

जानती हु की मुझसे प्यार करता है वो

पर अपने दिल की आवाज को

शायद पहचानता नही है वो ........................

अगर कभी नाराज हो जाऊ उससे

तो दर्द उसे भी होता है पर

प्यार में अपनों को मनाना जानता नही है वो .......................................

इतने अहसासों से गुजरने के बाद भी ,

ख़ुद को पहले जेसा समझता है वो

तभी तो कहती हु की मेरा पगला है वो ...............

और दिल में दर्द हो रहा है ,

जितनी तुम्हारे लिए खुशी है

उतना ही तुम से बिछड़ने का गम हो रहा है ...........................

तुमने बडी मासूमियत से कह तो दिया की

कविता लिख दो ,पर तुम्ही बताओ की

मुझ से आख़िर कविता लिखी कैसे जाए ,

जिसे तुम प्यार करते हो वो ही अगर

तुम्हे छोड़ कर जाए ,तो भला

कैसे शब्द सयोंजन हो पाए .....................

जीवन के सफ़र में जब हमने कुछ पग

चलना ही सिखा था ,तो तुम

हमे छोड़ कर जा रही हो

कैसा निष्ठुर ह्रदय है तुम्हारा ,

अपने बच्चो को रुला रही हो ..................................

अगर जाना ही था हमे छोड़ कर ,

अपना बनाया ही क्यो था तुमने

क्यो लड़ती थी तुम सब से हमारे लिए ,

क्यो अपने सपनों को छोड़ कर ,

हमारी आखो में सपना जगाया था तुमने ................................

दुनिया को बदलने की सीख देने वाली

आज ख़ुद ही हार मान रही है

तलवार थमा कर हमारे हाथो में

ख़ुद मैदान छोड़ रही है .......................................

शायद तुम जानती नही की तुम क्या हो ,

या तुम ने ख़ुद को कभी देखा ही नही ,

बारूद हो तुम ,जिस में एक आग है

जो सब कुछ बदल सकता है ,

तुम तो वो नदिया की धारा हो ,

जो विपरीत परिस्थतियों में भी अपने लिए रस्ता बनाती हो ........................

तुम्हे देख मिलती मुझे नव प्रेरणा ,और

एक अजीब सा तेज था तुम में

जो कहता था की कुछ तो अलग है ,

वो आकर्षण ,वो सौम्यता अब शायद कभी

देखने को ना मिलेगी हमे ,

नए चहरो और लोगो के बीच तुम ,

हमे भूल जाओगी ,अपनी खुशियों

में मशरूफ शायद ही तुम कभी हमे याद कर

पाओगी ...........................................

चलो आज हम भी तुम से ये वादा

करते है की सूरज की पहली

किरण जब तुम्हारा मुख

Fatehabad, August 31Uma Chaudhary, a final-year student of the Masters of Journalism and Mass Communication in Chaudhary Devi Lal University, feels a special thrill when she says “Good Morning Sirsa” sitting on the hot seat of the Community Radio Station set up recently in her department.
She had not thought in the wildest of her dreams till a few months back that she would be independently presenting two programmes on a daily basis on an FM radio.
Now, she presents “Good Morning Sirsa”, a programme comprising thought of the day, astrological forecast and spiritual songs, from 10 am to 11 am, and “Meethi Yaadein”, a programme of old classical hits, from 3 pm to 4 pm.
“The new experience has given me a lot of self-confidence,” Uma said, adding,“It has also honed my writing skills as I have to write scripts for all my programmeson my own”.
“I feel thrilled when I get feedback from people on my programmes. Songs in ‘Meethi Yaadein’ are played on the choice of listeners and I receive a number of calls on a daily basis,” she adds.
Shreyashi Chhatarpati, another student of the final year, who presents “Satrangi Peeng”, a programme on common problems confronting society along with their solutions, says the Community Radio has come as a blessing in disguise for students. “We are enjoying as we are learning the skills of radio jockeying,” she adds.
Virender Singh Chauhan, chairperson of the Journalism and Mass Communication Department, who himself presents “Hello Sirsa”, a phone-in programme in which persons from various fields interact with listeners through the radio, says the radio has given a new platform to his students where they can showcase their talent.
“We had stopped listening radios but ever since the first FM radio has been started in the university, we have taken out our radios from cupboard,” said Satish Kumar, a resident of the local Barnala Road.
